After a triumphant headline performance with his legendary band Regurgitator at this year's Gum Ball, Ben Ely will return to the hallowed grounds of Dashville for a special solo performance.

Known for his work with the 'Gurge and other various projects, Ely has spent the last few years writing and recording solo works.

After spending 16 years living in the southern capital cities, the esteemed musician relocated back to his home town of Brisbane at the start of 2016.

Visiting certain locations of the inner city brought back recollections and feelings from events that took place in his youth; flashbacks of stage diving for the first time at St Paul's Tavern in Spring Hill; his first girlfriend getting possessed by the Devil out at Capalaba; getting into car chases with violent bouncers in Red Hill; and many other bizarre events that now seem like an entire life time away.

These stories make their way subconsciously into the songs on his new album Strange Tales of Drugs & Lost Love.

Expect to hear some new songs, some tracks from his last solo record Goodbye Machine and, of course, some Regurgitator classics.

Don't miss what will be a special intimate performance at our exclusive Sunday Wind Down. Tickets available through Ticketbooth or from the merch desk at Dashville Skyline 2017.

Ben Ely's album is out September 15.
