With another stunning soundscape now on our shelves, we're very pleased to welcome back to the beguiling music of singer-songwriter Coda Chroma.
Coda Chroma is the alias of Melbourne-based musician Kate Lucas, and is a vehicle for her preoccupation with writing songs.
Coda Chroma’s songs are drawn from personal dreamscapes and real life encounters, delivering poetic honesty, with a nostalgia for the unknown. She works very closely with NZ born producer Damien Charles on this cinematic indie-folk project, creating otherworldly arrangements and expansive musical landscapes.
After a run of national and international shows, Coda Chroma has returned to release her second album Inside The Still Life.
With more than a fistful of hits and heartbreaks, Inside The Still Life is a major progression from the debut album.
Coda Chroma's sophisticated pop sensibility only partially disguises a more intense, brooding, and cheekily existential underbelly.
Coda Chroma has once again teamed up with producer Damien Charles, pulling together this beautifully diverse set of songs to create a metaphysical listening experience.
