PigSty in July 2022 will proudly feature home-grown Aussie ska legends THE PORKERS. Forming in Newcastle way back in 1987, the group, led by founder and singer Pete Cooper, are an institution on Australia's live circuit and have toured internationally and played major festivals like the Big Day Out, Livid, Vans Warped Tour and Homebake. With an energy custom-made for a party such as PigSty, The Porkers are 31 years young and ready to make this night one to remember.
Interestingly so, The Porkers were the band that played the first ever PigSty back in 2006, when a young Magpie cooked up a 3 course pork feast at Gallipoli Legion Club, Hamilton. We're sentimentally stoked to have them back!

A MONEY FOR ROPE live performance is an all-encompassing, vibrant, energetic & sexy experience, it’s truly amazing. You’ll find it very hard to stand still with guitar licks flying, bass lines rumbling, keyboards groovin’ and double drummers blowing your tiny mind.
Audiences around the world have have been treated to these performances with many a tour here in Australia and across International waters, appearances at festival such as Big Day Out, Splendour in the Grass, The Falls, Boogie!, Golden Plains, The Gum Ball and The Hills Are Alive.

With roots grounded in the pubs and house parties of Sydney's Inner-West, Thunder Fox have since come to be known as one of the top up and coming live acts in the country and certainly no stranger to the Dashville paddock.
Thunder Fox's live experience is often praised for its infectious energy and musicality, and has landed them shows supporting the likes of Ocean Alley and Winston Surfshirt. Their prowess has also carried onto some of Australia's most iconic festival stages including Caloundra Music Festival, Lost Paradise, The Gum Ball and Jungle Love.

The Casino Rumblers have been a huge force in the psychobilly/ska scene since 2000 and a heavy touring act for 16 years, touring with some of the best including The Misfits,Tiger Army, Mad Sin, The Meteors, Slim Jim Phantom.
After a bit of time out to pasture, they've worked up a brand new album and are ready to fire in 2022, looking to claim their place back at the top of the psychobilly train.

The Laurels are an Australian neo-psychedelic four-piece based in Sydney's inner west.
HOMECOMING is the title of The Laurels’ new album that is out now through Third Eye Stimuli Records. Across the album, themes surrounding “home” and the feeling of returning full circle influenced the band and like their highly acclaimed releases ‘Mesozoic’ (2011) and ‘Plains’ (2012), the group worked hard on capturing the live arrangements and performances before heading into recording.
Hard-hitting psych rock and shoegaze anthems, the 10 track record melds visceral post punk and dense synth soundscapes to create a dreamlike experience.

Awash with vintage guitar tones and primitive rhythms, Frank Sultana's raw, soulful voice bleeds with the experience of the characters he writes and sings about.
In one breath, his songs are dark and dirty, joyous and hopeful. Frank is a storyteller in the traditional sense, inspired by greats like Ray Charles and Bob Dylan, as well as Mississippi blues pioneers like Skip James and Son House.
He's released five albums and three EPs, becoming a permanent fixture on Australia's live scene, earning a big reputation as a powerhouse singer and gifted songwriter.

Alice Terry sounds like she's had three husbands and killed them all.
Effortlessly combining the best parts of folk, jazz and blues, Alice Terry lays it all on the stage for her audience; creating music which is at once strong, sexy, funny and heartbreaking. Dubbed "Sydney's first lady of blues", Terry is powerful and mesmerising, whether it be a solo performances or with her 8 piece band.

Terry has supported the likes of Allen Stone, Beth Hart, Matt Corby, The Waifs, Thirsty Merc, and has appeared at such festivals as: Woodford Folk, Narooma Blues, Thredbo Blues, The End Festival, Vivid, Sydney Festival Main Stage & many more.
"The real deal" - Beth Hart

Burger Joint serve up saucy, if not annoyingly catchy, dancable earworms.
This is a two-piece that sounds like a six-piece funk band.
Full of fun, groove and songwriting that will get you on your feet and have you smiling, Burger Joint creates multi layered loops of live drums and guitars on stage to have a huge fat groove-driven sound that is a like a juicy works burger that drips down your chin.
Check out their hilarious videos, get down with the funk boogie that is Burger Joint.

Get up, get on up. Taste it! Taste it! Jump/jive masters Fish Fry, are bringing their motherfunkin' alter ego Pow Wow: A Tribute to James Brown back to Dashville.
Classic funk tunes that send jolting electric impulses from the genitals to the feet in nanoseconds.
Funk is the aim.

WELL? are an incredible rock/prog/fusion band from Newcastle NSW - be aware this is local talent at its finest! Forming in mid 2019 they have covered ground quickly. They've released 5 singles to 5 sold out launches, all in the middle of a pandemic. They even caught the attention from legendary bands such as Mental As Anything prior to the passing of Andrew 'Greedy' Smith..

Combining forces to blend their unique outlooks on storytelling, Sydney’s Jeremy Strother and Bobbie Lee Stamper are Racing Bird. Their debut single ‘Rarely Never Loaded’ draws passionate vocals from Jeremy, to eloquently sit atop bluesy rhythms from Bobbie, the duo have combined to create an emotive sound that is fleetingly familiar, but uniquely Racing Birds. Reminiscent of late night drives through Southern California in the ‘60’s, the band capture a raw and honest edge that is on show throughout ‘Rarely Never Loaded’.
