Well here it is, folks!
Our full program for 2017.
Sculpted, shovelled and stroked, here it is in its entirety - The Gum Ball program and playing times for 2017.
Thanks to everyone who's locked in for Belford's biggest bush bash, bloody hell it's going to be a fun ride.
As revealed below, Friday, April 21 will be headlined by Canadian turntable wizards The Funk Hunters and Saturday night will be headlined by garage rockers The Peep Tempel and legendary genre-benders Regurgitator.
Alongside our stunning line-up of national and international music acts, which also includes comedy trio Tripod, Kim Churchill, Boo Seeka and The Cat Empire’s Felix Riebl, is a cast of stellar performers.
Comedy duo Kiki and Pascal, a hit at last year’s Gum Ball, return to present a wild slapstick porch program, full of contortion, acrobatics and singing, with special guests, including acclaimed magician and TV regular Liam Power and anarchic clown Chris Lynam.
After the huge response of last year, reptiles will again slither back with Dr Crunch’s Reptile Show. There’ll also be wide-eyed wonder when the Shark in a Bus rolls into Dashville (a travelling shark museum that includes a five-metre great white shark), plus circus troupe Psycus, puppetry acrobatics and free puppet-making workshops with The Squeaking Tribe, a bit of Hoola Hoop action from the La La Sisters. But, most importantly, let's not forget the Hunter’s favourite llama, Hamish, who'll be dropping by for a few cans and a yarn...
For the first time in its history The Gum Ball will offer the Sunday Wind Down, an optional night of camping and music. It'll kick off from 2pm, offering up some further casual Sunday vibes and a bunch of live music for those that would rather just stick around.
As an exciting first, Lifeline Store will be running a special pop-up fancy dress shop. Catering for those who forgot to pre-order their outfit for the famed Op Shop Bop pageant. Be sure to drop in before Saturday night, to get your outfit tightened up ready for the judges. Talent scouts will be on the prowl throughout the afternoon selecting entrants for the final round which kicks in at 7.30pm on the main stages.
The House of Big Dreams creche still has a couple of spots left for parents wanting to get a little boogie time on either evening. It opens from 6pm.
Festival tickets are almost sold out - though if you're quick you can probably still grab them - along with the option to include a special Sunday night wind-down as an extra add on.
For those with Saturday only tickets and wanting to come Friday, since you're already part of the allocation, you can simply rock up on the Friday and pay the difference at the Box Office.
Please ensure you've read through all the golden rules. We're stoked to be able to provide this festival on our family property. As always, we just ask that you respect the opportunity and play responsibly.
