Australia's great innovators of psychedelic surf rock, Tamam Shud formed in Newcastle in 1964 and went to become part of the rich tapestry of this country's musical history.

Over half a century later, the iconic group is back on the stage and heading to Dashville for The Gum Ball.

The band's 1968 debut record Evolution cemented them in Australia's surf scene, with the album's music used in a surfing movie of the same name. They then famously had three songs included on the legendary sound for timeless surf film Morning of the Earth.
